      Believe it or not, back when I applied to Oxford, you could do a special exam set by Oxford University that you took before your A-levels, and if you did well in it, they gave you a two-E offer, so you were basically in. They didn’t really care about your A-levels if you did well in their special exam. So I actually got a B in one of my A-levels and still got in. There is a fair amount of pressure at Oxford University but the terms are only 8 weeks long so you get plenty of time to chill as well.
