• Question: How would you teach people to conduct their own research into mental health?

      Sorry to be boring on this one, but I wouldn’t teach people to do this – I’m not qualified! Some psychologists specialise in mental health and know how to help people with mental problems. These are called clinical psychologists. Other psychologists focus more on just understanding how the mind works, when all is going fairly typically. I’m the second kind of psychologist, and without clinical training, I wouldn’t be the best person to teach about how to research mental health.
