Hey Chazza! Great question. When I first went to uni I did acting, and after that I went to a drama school. I then started working as an actor but I always wanted to do Psychology so I studied psychology in my spare time through a ‘distance learning’ university (where most of the study is online so you can do it around your other commitments). I wanted to do a research project that combined Psychology and acting and that’s what my current PhD is about. I still do some acting work (though at the moment not much because I am so busy) and I don’t think I’ll ever give it up completely because I really enjoy it. Although acting is a great career, I always wanted to do something scientific as well (I love performing but I also love learning!) so I’ve tried to combine the two as much as possible! I don’t have any regrets at the moment, but I think I would regret it if I gave up either completely, so I try to do both careers! 🙂
